My works on paper reflect an interest in capturing the essence of my subject through realism, concentrating on light, value color and composition.

 

Teen portraits capture the hallmarks of adolescence, the beginning of independence. Elder portraits celebrate the wisdom and dignity of years of experience.

 

Themes inspired by my Irish American heritage include Irish landscapes and culture, dance, music and spirituality of the Emerald Isle and diaspora.
